Titanic the Musical is coming to cinemas this November, courtesy of production company Stage2View, known for their recent filmed stage musicals such as "Kinky Boots," "An American in Paris," and "Anything Goes." The highly anticipated film is set to premiere in U.S. cinemas on November 4th and 8th, thanks to a collaboration with Fathom Events and BY Experience. Tickets are now available for purchase through Fathom Events. Today, Stage2View and Fathom Events released an exclusive look at the filmed musical, featuring a full-length musical number from the show - "Lady's Maid." Watch the full clip below! Following the pattern of previous Stage2View productions, "Titanic the Musical" is expected to be available on streaming platforms following its cinema debut in November. Fans can look forward to enjoying this captivating musical both from the comfort of their homes and through physical copies, much like "42nd Street," "John & Jen," and "Ruthless!" While a collaboration with a specific streaming vendor has yet to be officially announced, Stage2View typically partners with BroadwayHD to make its offerings available, while also independently releasing all of its titles through its Amazon channel. The original Broadway production of Titanic the Musical received five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, and Best Book. This new production commemorates the 10th anniversary of its London premiere, which received widespread critical acclaim. Presented by Danielle Tarento in association with Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, Harmonia, Bruce Robert Harris, and Jack W Batman, the production premiered at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley on March 16th, 2023. Filming of the musical took place using seven cameras placed at multiple locations within the New Victoria Theatre during regular performances, with the cast and crew also filming the show in an empty theater during the day.
