Tickets Now on Sale for Cinema Screenings of Heathers the Musical

As we revealed on Thursday, the live capture of Heathers: The Musical will be coming to cinemas across the UK & Ireland at select locations. Today, tickets go on sale for the cinema screenings ahead of the upcoming March premiere.

This will mark the first time the recorded production will be seen in the UK since its release last year as a Roku Original. Heathers is still available to stream in the US and Canada through the Roku Channel for free but is unavailable in all other regions. No US cinema release is planned at this time.

The London production was filmed back in May with Ailsa Davidson as Veronica Sawyer, Simon Gordon as J.D, and Maddison Firth as Heather Chandler. It was captured live by STEAM Motion & Sound, which is known for its other stage releases (Newsies, The Phantom of the Opera, Kinky Boots, and many more).

Here's how to get your tickets now for the cinema screenings of Heathers:

Heathers: The Musical will be released in the UK and Ireland through Kaleidoscope Film Distribution on March 28th, 2023. Screenings are now on sale through Empire Cinemas, Picture House, The Light, and more.

Screening locations include Birmingham Great Park, Bishop's Stortford, Catterick Garrison, Clydebank, High Wycombe, Ipswich, Sunderland, Sutton (Surrey), Swindon (Greenbridge), Walthamstow, Wigan, Norwich, Southampton, and more.

More locations are expected to be announced soon. The show may offer encore screenings based on demand in select locations.

A DVD and Blu-Ray release of Heathers could also be a future possibility thanks to Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment, a subsidiary of Kaleidoscope Film Distribution which handles the UK distribution of the live capture.

While we wait for March 28th, check out our full database for all the Broadway and West End shows you can now stream online or purchase on DVD and Blu-Ray. Or better yet, if you're in the US or Canada, stream Heathers now for free.

Wickedly funny and with dazzling book, music and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, Heathers The Musical is based on the 1988 cult hit, that starred Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, and produced by Bill Kenwright and Paul Taylor-Mills, the team behind the acclaimed stage adaptation of Carrie. With direction from Andy Fickman and electrifying choreography by Gary Lloyd, this is one class production you can’t afford to skip. Greetings, salutations.
