Merrily We Roll Along Broadway Film Sets December Release

According to AMC Theatres, this cinematic release will offer fans nationwide the chance to experience the landmark production that redefined Stephen Sondheim and George Furth’s cult classic.

Directed by Olivier Award winner Maria Friedman and produced by theatrical powerhouse Sonia Friedman, the film captures the magic of the 2023–2024 Broadway revival, which became both a critical and commercial triumph.

The production stars Jonathan Groff, Daniel Radcliffe, and Lindsay Mendez, all reprising their Tony-nominated (and Tony-winning) roles as Franklin Shepard, Charley Kringas, and Mary Flynn. Rounding out the principal cast are Krystal Joy Brown, Katie Rose Clarke, and Reg Rogers, with the ensemble featuring many original Broadway cast members.

The 2023 Broadway production of Merrily We Roll Along opened to rave reviews at the Hudson Theatre on October 10, 2023.
