Exclusive: Anything Goes With Sutton Foster Sets DVD/Blu-Ray Release

Filmed live at the Barbican in London, the recent remounting of Broadway's Anything Goes starring Sutton Foster will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray by Liberator Film Studios.

Physical releases of captured Broadway and West End performances are relatively rare, and we're thrilled Sutton Foster's Tony Award-winning performance as Reno Sweeney will be immortalized on DVD and Blu-Ray.

We've recently listed all Broadway and West End musicals that are available on DVD, together with the top 10 shows that have seen a Blu-Ray release.

Here's all we know about the upcoming DVD & Blu-Ray release of Anything Goes:

As the S.S. American heads to sea, etiquette and convention head out the portholes as two unlikely pairs set a course to true love. But destiny needs a little help from singing sailors, comical disguises, and good old-fashioned blackmail.

The filmed production reunited director Kathleen Marshall and star Sutton Foster, who worked together on the musical's Broadway revival in 2011. Joining Foster are Robert Lindsay, Felicity Kendal, and Gary Wilmot.

Liberator Films will release the production on both DVD and Blu-Ray on March 14th, 2023. The company is known for its home releases of filmed musicals and plays: previously released titles include Kinky Boots the Musical42nd streetThe Wind in the Willows, An American in Paris, and West End musical From Here to Eternity - all are now available to order.

Pre-orders will open in the coming weeks. Both DVD & Blu-Ray will be classified as "Region 0 - All Regions" and will play worldwide, although they will only be available to purchase in the U.S. at the moment (International shoppers will be able to export through Amazon). Running time is set at 139 minutes. The Blu-ray will retail for $24.95, while the DVD is set at $16.95.

Anything Goes Producer Howard Panter is no stranger to live captures of musicals - his London remounting of "The King and I" starring Kelli O'Hara was filmed in 2018 and is now widely available to stream through various online distributors.

Although "The King and I" was also filmed by Liberator Films and followed a similar distribution path to Anything Goes, the London revival has not yet been released on either DVD or Blu-Ray.
