Frank Wildhorn’s Dracula the Musical Released on DVD and Blu-Ray

Filmed in Ulm, the production is a revised edition of the Broadway production that premiered at the Belasco Theatre in 2004 starring Tom Hewitt,  Melissa Errico, and Kelli O'Hara.

With the Frank Wildhorn score remaining mostly intact from the Broadway incarnation, the orchestrations were revised and the book was tweaked, following the negative reception the show received in New York.

Shortly after the Broadway closing in 2005, Dracula made its international debut in Switzerland in a much-revised form which proved to be a hit with critics and audiences alike.

The revised production was quickly made available for licensing and produced all over the world. Multiple productions opened in Austria, Canada, Japan, Italy, Germany, and South Korea, competing with the success of another Broadway flop that concurred Europe, Dance of the Vampires.

The newly filmed version was produced in Ulm, Germany in 2021 and filmed live during its summer run. The show has now been released on DVD & Blu-Ray and is available to order through Amazon. English subtitles are included in the release.
