Yesterday, it was revealed that BroadwayHD will stream the Broadway musical "Mr. Saturday Night", which played its final performance earlier this month - the musical was filmed live in its final week and will stream globally in the coming months.

BroadwayHD captured several live performances at Broadway's Nederlander Theater, making it the platform's first filmed Broadway production in years.

Will BroadwayHD manage to keep partnering with commercial Broadway producers? We'll have to wait and see.

To celebrate the joyous occasion, BroadwayHD founders Bonnie Comley & Stewart F. Lane visited the Nederlander Theater during filming week. Check out the photos below:

Mr. Saturday Night tells the story of Buddy Young Jr., an outrageous comedian who found fame, if not fortune, in the early days of television. Now, 40 years after his TV career flamed out, Buddy seeks one more shot at the spotlight, and while he's at it, one last shot at fixing the family he fractured along the way.

Streaming platform BroadwayHD has paid for the worldwide rights to distribute the musical, which means the Broadway production will be streaming on the platform worldwide.
