Off-Broadway's Kennedy: Bobby's Last Crusade Streams Free Tonight

David Arrow's off-Broadway play, Kennedy: Bobby's Last Crusade, will be live streaming for free tonight.

1968 was a stormy year in American history - the war in Vietnam was at its peak, President Lyndon Johnson was losing power, riots over racial justice were in every American city, and Robert F. Kennedy faced the most difficult decision of his life.

This off-Broadway show played the Theater at St. Clement's Church in November 2018 and was later filmed for release. The recording of the play was released in 2021 and will now be available to stream for free.

Here's how to stream "Kennedy: Bobby's Last Crusade" tonight:

The filmed play portrays Kennedy during his short, electrifying campaign running for the President of the United States.  Told from Kennedy’s viewpoint, the play follows Bobby from his announcement to enter the race to his very last speech at the Ambassador Hotel in LA.

The off-Broadway production of Kennedy: Bobby's Last Crusade will be streaming tonight at 9:30 PM ET - a direct link to the stream was added to our updating list of free musicals and plays.

The causes that Kennedy crusaded for and policies he supported on the campaign trail are just as relevant today as they were in the 60s. The play contains Kennedy’s most famous and impactful speeches as well as his private fears and some of the more personal, less publicized events of those four exhilarating months of his ill-fated campaign.

In his review for TheaterMania, Zachary Stewart said: "Director Eric Nightengale delivers a neat staging that clearly delineates between Kennedy's actual words and the original text, while Katherine R. Mitchell's projections keep us up to date with the progress of the campaign trail. James Morgan's set conjures an ethereal hotel ballroom decorated with campaign posters (four of which Mitchell is able to change to reflect geography) and a light dusting of confetti."

The play is streaming for free as part of Broadway on Demand's new initiative, "Broadway at Home TV", a unique streaming channel that releases stage performances worldwide. Earlier this week, the BOD channel released Stratford Festival's Adventures of Pericles.
