London's Heathers the Musical to Be Filmed for Release
Steam Motion and Sound, which previously filmed major hits such as Waitress, Prince of Egypt, Aladdin, Kinky Boots, Newsies, Miss Saigon and Billy Elliot will bring the hit London production of Heathers the Musical to the screen! Here's all we know about the filming of Heathers the Musical: Performances of Heathers at The Other Palace in mid May will be filmed in front of an invited audience ahead of a future release. Following a two week break for filming, regular performances will resume May 20th with the show running to September 4th 2022. As part of the live shoot there will be two live performances, with free tickets available through a lottery. More details will be announced soon. The musical started its UK journey with a cult following and was a box office record-breaker at The Other Palace in 2018, before transferring to the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a limited season later that year. Last year the production returned to the Haymarket for another successful West End season, while in parallel with a UK tour, before returning to it is original home, The Other Palace in November 2021 for another record-breaking run.
