Broadway's COME FROM AWAY DVD & Blu-ray Release Details
Apple TV+ is now streaming the full Original Broadway Production of Come From Away, and while it is possible to watch the show for free using a limited trial, a physical media release is often cherished by fans. Come From Away can now be streamed online for free through Apple TV+. Earlier this month, Apple TV+ announced their first Apple Original Movie to be made available on physical media - Sofia Coppola's Apple TV+ comedy "On the Rocks". According to the Blu-Ray version information, the physical disc is being distributed by Lionsgate, meaning its exclusivity will no longer be through Apple TV+ on Apple's devices and supported TVs and streaming boxes. The only other Apple TV+ original available for customers to purchase on Blu-ray and DVD is the drama series "Defending Jacob," which made the jump to physical media in July, courtesy of Paramount. As it seems right now, Come From Away might receive a physical media release from its original Canadian producer - eOne Entertainment - which has a history of distributing its films on physical media in Canada. In the past, eOne signed a deal with Fox (now owned by Disney) to manage their sales and home distribution services on behalf of eOne for film, television and family home entertainment titles in locations outside of Canada. Whether Come From Away will see a physical release will depend on their exclusivity contract with Apple TV+, which purchased the streaming rights for the film from eOne in a deal that should last at least 12 months.
