The hit Broadway musical Suffs will soon reach audiences far and wide as it is set to be filmed for PBS’s acclaimed series Great Performances. Filming is scheduled to take place from December 20th to 22nd at the Music Box Theatre. Film shoot notices have been posted around the theater, informing passersby that all vehicles in the vicinity must be moved to accommodate filming trucks. The notices also revealed the film name as "GP: Suffs," confirming that the filming is for Great Performances

Written and composed by Shaina Taub, Suffs tells the story of the women’s suffrage movement, highlighting the pivotal figures and moments that shaped the fight for the right to vote.
