Final Week to Stream Heathers: The Musical through Icon Films
Catch it while you can: there's just one more week to stream Heathers: The Musical through the Icon Films Amazon channel. The live capture of the musical was released in Europe on May 1st and will now be removed from the streaming platform due to rights restrictions. Icon Film Distribution acquired the exclusive distribution rights to Heathers, marking the company's first stage musical release. The channel is still offering a free 7-day trial for those joining the channel for the first time. Viewers located in the US and Canada can still stream the musical through the free ad-supported Roku Channel. Kaleidoscope Home Entertainment plans to release the musical on a special edition DVD and Blu-Ray on June 5th, with both releases now available for pre-order through most online retailers. The Blu-Ray release is set to include a second disc containing a special Sing-Along version of the musical, where fans will be able to sing along with animated lyrics to their favorite songs throughout the show. The DVD (which won't include the Sing-Along version) will be priced at £10, with the region-free 2-disc Blu-Ray set priced at £12.99.
