Filmed Big Night of Musicals Event Will Stream on BBC One - Lineup Revealed

For the second year in a row, The National Lottery's extravagant Big Night Of Musicals event, hosted by Jason Manford and staged in Manchester's AO Arena, will be broadcast on BBC One.

The event will take place on Monday, February 27, and will bring together the biggest West End shows together for a night of musical celebration. The show will be filmed in full for a spring broadcast on BBC One together with an edited radio program on BBC Radio.

Produced by TBI Media, the 90-minute broadcast of the event will be followed by a BBC Radio 2 program which will feature exclusive backstage access and interviews with the stars taking part on the night.

The filmed concert will be available to stream through BBC's iPlayer with the radio program available on BBC Sounds for 30 days following the broadcast.

6. Six The Musical

8. The Bodyguard The Musical

9. Rodgers & Hammerstein’s The King And I

10. Aspects Of Love, featuring musical theatre star Michael Ball



In an official press release, host Jason Manford said: "I’m thrilled to be back hosting The National Lottery’s Big Night of Musicals for another year. It was incredible to see so many amazing shows under one roof last year, and with 13 completely different shows set to perform this year, it’s guaranteed to be another cracker of a night!”
