Here's how to stream Rock of Ages now: Rock of Ages was a huge Broadway success in 2009, running for more than 2,300 performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre (now the Lena Horne) and later moving to Broadway's smallest theatre, The Helen Hayes. The Broadway cast included Constantine Maroulis, Amy Spanger, Wesley Taylor, and Lauren Molina. Maroulis and Broadway producers Matt Weaver and Barry Habib made cameos in the movie. Just a little less than a year following its Broadway opening, the show's film rights were sold to Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema which later produced the movie version three years later while the show was still playing on Broadway. The 2012 film has now been added to our updating list of free streaming musicals and plays. It will be streaming for free in the US and Canada as part of TUBI TV for the month of November. in his Rolling Stones review, Peter Travers said: "But even if you never again want to listen to “Don’t Stop Believin’,” there’s no denying the party-time pow of Rock of Ages, or of Cruise’s performance. He’s phenomenal. He gets all the moves right – the sound, too (check him out on Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead or Alive”). Better yet, he finds the heart that still beats inside the bare chest of this sex, drugs and rock & roll casualty. In a movie that only wants to rock you, Cruise plays it for keeps. Resistance is futile."
