Camelot (1982)

The second Broadway revival of Camelot was filmed live at the Winter Garden Theatre, with the filming being financed by HBO. The network invested more than $3.5 million into the filming of the show which was a test run for the network in providing Broadway productions to its viewers.

Several adjustments and mostly enhancements were to the production prior to the filming, such as brand new special effects, but other then that the show remained true to the original production which opened in 1980.
