Marin Mazzie and Jason Danieley Concert Streams Free Tonight

Broadway legend Marin Mazzie appears in "Broadway & Beyond" - an unforgettable celebration of her and Jason Danieley’s life together through music and theatre.

Marin Mazzie was a three-time Tony Award nominee, for her performances in Passion, Ragtime, and Kiss Me, Kate (where she played the dual roles of Lilli Vanessi/Katharine both on Broadway and then in the West End transfer). She also appeared on Broadway in The King and I, the off-Broadway revival of Carrie the Musical, Spamalot, and Bullets Over Broadway.

Mazzie died on September 13, 2018 at the age of 57, following a three-year battle with ovarian cancer and a year after filming this concert alongside her husband.

Tonight, "Broadway & Beyond" streams for free at 9:30 PM ET. Here's how to watch:

In "Broadway & Beyond", Marin and Jason sing songs they introduced in original Broadway cast productions (such as Passion and Bullets Over Broadway), songs they also sang in Broadway revivals (The King and I), and in concerts across the country.

Called "Broadway’s Golden Couple” (San Francisco Chronicle), the concert was filmed live at Feinstein's/54 Below and marked their final NYC appearances together. Thankfully the concert was captured on film and as an album, ensuring it will not be lost to time, preserving the brilliant pair at the peak of their vocal powers.

The concert will be streaming for free tonight, August 2, at 9:30PM ET. A link to the concert has been added to our updating list of musicals and plays that stream for free.

All proceeds from the event were donated to the Cancer Support Community, Tina’s Wish, and The Actor’s Fund through Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS.

Marin Mazzie came to stardom originating the role of Clara in Sondheim’s 1994 musical Passion, alongside Jere Shea and Donna Murphy. The musical, and her iconic performance, were forever immortalized on film

The concert includes Broadway favorites such as: "When You Wish Upon A Star", "Hello, Young Lovers", "Happiness", "Too Many Mornings", "Not A Day Goes By", "Move On", "When Did I Fall In Love?", "And The World Goes 'Round", "Back To Before", and "Our Love Is Here To Stay".
