Universal Studio's "The Shows Must Go On!" initiative returns this weekend with its series of free musical streams. The first musical to stream is Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - the iconic 1999 production inspired by the London Palladium version of the show.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be streaming in full on Saturday, July 2 from 5pm BST / 12pm ET / 9am PT. The show will be available globally for 24 hours only through The Shows Must Go On! channel and is now part of our list of musicals that stream for free.

The production stars Donny Osmond as Joseph, Maria Friedman as The Storyteller, Richard Attenborough as Jacob, Joan Collins as Frau Potiphar, Ian McNeice as Potiphar, Robert Rorti as Pharaoh, Christopher Biggins as The Baker, Alex Jennings as The Butler, Jeff Blumenkrantz as Simeon, Sebastien Torkia as Dan, and Peter Challis as Gad.

 

 

Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic musical follows the rags to riches story of Joseph, his eleven brothers, and the coat of many colors. The show was filmed on a soundstage in the Uk in 1999.

The enchanting score includes the classics Close Every Door to Me, Go Go Go Joseph and Any Dream Will Do.
