BroadwayHD teams with Fathom Events to present '42nd Street' May 1st
The London production of 42nd Street will be screened in US cinemas May 1st, 2019, following a live capture by BroadwayHD ealier this year. The production is expected to be made available to view on demand to BroadwayHD subscribers as well. For more information on the screenings, see Fathom Events, the official distributor in the U.S. Mark Bramble, who co-wrote the book, directed the stage production. Randy Skinner choreographs, and Lord Michael Grade, Michael Linnit, and Dr. Johnny Hon produce the stage show. 42nd Street opened April 4, 2017 and closed earlier this year. The production featured the largest cast in the West End, with over 50 actors. The cast is led by Tom Lister as Julian Marsh, Bonnie Langford as Dorothy Brock, Clare Halse as Peggy Sawyer, and Ashley Day as Billy Lawlor, along with Jasna Ivir as Maggie Jones, Christopher Howell as Bert Barry, Matthew Goodgame as Pat Denning, Graeme Henderson as Andy Lee, Bruce Montague as Abner Dillon, Mark McKerracher as Mac/Doc/Thug, Emma Caffrey as Annie, Clare Rickard as Phyllis, Ella Martine as Lorraine, and Paul Knight as Oscar.
