Gypsy: Live from the Savoy Theatre (2015)
Gypsy: Live from the Savoy Theatre Stage musical loosely based on the memoirs of Gypsy Rose Lee. Gypsy's mother Rose dreams of a life in show business for her daughters, but Louise becomes a huge burlesque star.
The production, which originally opened at the Chichester Festival Theatre was recorded live after transferring to the West End in 2015.
The show was originally filmed for the BBC by Ellen M. Krass (known for her previous filmed works such as the original Sweeney Todd and the more recent She Loves Me).
The rights for the filming were later sold to PBS where it aired the following year under the Great Performances series. It was later released on the BroadwayHD platform as well.
